  • カイコサナギを宿主とするハナサナギタケ熱水抽出物のDガラクトースによる脳加齢誘導マウスの脳機能向上効果

    本研究は、実用品種のカイコを宿主とする冬虫夏草(ハナサナギタケ)Paecilomyces tenuipes(= Isaria tenuipes, or Isaria japonica)熱水抽出物(PTE)を、D-galactose(D-gal)を8週間皮下注射して脳加齢を誘導したC57BL/6Jマウスに5週間経口投与し、ステップスルー受動回避試験による文脈記憶能力とモリス水迷路試験による空間学習記憶能力に関する解析を行なった。PTEを摂取したマウスは、ステップスルー試験では、post-shock trialでの潜伏時間が長期化し、モリス水迷路試験では、トレーニング期間での反応潜時、プラットフォーム位置のクロッシング回数の増加とプラットフォームゾーン滞在時間が有意に増加した。さらに、D-galによる脳加齢誘導マウスの脳切片について、ホルツァー染色により海馬CA3領域にグリオーシスの発生という解剖学的なエビデンスが得られた。PTEを摂取していたD-gal脳加齢誘導マウスのグループにグリオーシスの減少が認められた。これらのことから、PTEが抗認知並びに学習機能向上効果を有する可能性があることがわかった。
